International Medical Physics Certification Board

Meeting in Taipei

A meeting was organized by the Asia-Oceania Federation of Organizations for Medical Physics (AFOMP) during the 10^th Asia-Oceania Congress of Medical Physics (10th AOCMP) to explore the various models of clinical medical physicist accreditation in different countries and regions.

The title of the meeting is “Symposium on Certification and Licensing of Medical Physicists”. It was held on October 17, 2010 at the National Taiwan University Hospital International Convention Center in Taipei, Taiwan. The Symposium organizer was Howell Round, PhD, of Hamilton, New Zealand, Chairman of the Professional Development Committee of AFOMP.
